These are the Hams Who Started The NU7DE Radio Club

        400x228The idea to grab the CallSign NU7DE first percolated in discussions among several Naturist Hams gathered at The Magic Circle in La Posa South one Winter about 2006.  K1oiQ came from New Hampshire where NU1DE was active and in TeXas NU5DE was instrumental in helping us with ideas and encouragement.  Virginia, KD4VRW, took notes and Tom, KD7ALH became our first Trustee and filed the FCC application for a Club License.  Once KE7DDY was granted we were able file the Vanity Call application for NU7DE.  The Desert Circle Amateur Radio Club became the place for Barefoot Operation in the Southwest Desert.

This page is not intended to be a formal history of NU7DE, only a starting point.  Activities and members are bared in other pages of  NU7DE.net and the NU7DE Io Group. Here we want to recognise our founders and Silent Keys.
